Back to the Beginning Week 1 In the Beginning God July 30, 2025

Welcome to “Back to the Beginning” at Anchor Bible Church!
I'm Pastor Barry, and I am glad that you have chosen to be part of this very important study!  
There are a few things to mention as we begin this study.  
This study will be a little more casual than a sermon/lesson type study.  Questions may be asked at any time.  At the end there will be time for input, and questions as well.  Some people would rather listen than to participate.  One of the things about this study is that you can feel comfortable whether you choose to simply listen, or ask questions to further the study. 
New notes will not necessarily be given every study, but all available printed notes and handouts will be available from week to week. 
If you would like to join me, I would like to add more to this study by beginning an ongoing email discussion thread and reply for our study between Wednesdays.  (Why not text? Well, we might get too many, and too many might get too distracting.)  IF you wish to participate in an email:
-Please send an email address that you check regularly
-I will keep your email address private, and forward out your response to the email group using the “bcc” email option to keep your address private. 
-Responses and questions that are only meant for me will not be forwarded out.  
-New names added over time will be added to the discussion each time there is a reply

This will also be made available to those who are unable to attend in person, but listen to our audio of the class.
